Huizenga Law Firm, P.C., Orange City Estate Planning

Your safety and security are our top priority.

The outbreak of COVID-19 represents a threat to our physical and emotional well-being. It reminds us that we live in an uncertain world. And in a time like this, planning is more important than ever.

Proper planning allows us to take control of our personal and financial affairs now and in the future. With our new No-Contact Estate Planning option, you can get the same, high-quality, personalized planning experience of our LegacyGuardTM Process from the comfort of your living room.

You can bring the unknown into the present and take control of it. Our No-Contact Estate Planning can help.

HOW IT WORKS

Step 1: Book an Initial Call with attorney Ethan Huizenga at a time that is convenient for you using our online scheduling tool.

Step 2: Work through our three-part LegacyGuardTM planning process through a series of virtual meetings and access all your information through our exclusive LegacyGuardTM client portal.

Step 3: Sign your documents using one of our Secure Signing Procedure options.

Step 4: Ongoing access to the Huizenga Law team through our LegacyGuardTM program and client portal where you can schedule your Family Care Meeting for a time that works best for you, your loved ones, and your advisors.

Secure Signing Procedure

After we review your chosen plan tools together, it’s time to implement the plan by properly executing each document. This can be very challenging when person-to-person contact is impossible.

To solve this problem, we’ve created three options for you to choose from when it’s time to sign your plan documents. You can choose from our unique E-PAL Signing, virtual signing, and a self-guided option.

E-PAL stands for Estate Planning Airlock. We’ve created a process that uses a windowed room where you can sign documents and we can witness and notarize your signatures in-person without ever being in physical contact.

If you choose the virtual option, we will use remote online notary and witness procedures, and the self-guided option includes detailed instructions for properly executing each document.

Virtual Meetings

We live in dangerous times. To protect our health and well-being, we’re being asked to take some extreme steps. Social distancing. Self quarantine. Shelter in place.

We know how important these actions are, so we’ve rebuilt our process from the ground up in order to continue providing the best possible service for our clients.

All three of our planning stages – Mutual Interview, Plan Design, and Plan Review can now happen virtually. We can even bring your family into the loop when everything is in place with a virtual Family Care Meeting.

You get the same great LegacyGuard experience from the safety and comfort of home.
